Schedule of Fees and Other Charges for the
Academic Year 2010-11

1) Registration Fee: A non-refundable Application Fee of Rs.500/- is payable to BG Academy along with the submission of the duly completed 'Application for Admission' form.

2) Admission Fee,Security Deposit and Academic Fee: A non-refundable Adimission Fee and Annual Academic Fee,as mentioned in the table below are payable at the time of accepting admission.

Parents have the facility of paying the refundable Security Deposit in five equal installments spread over the current academic year, first installment being payable at the time of accepting admission.

Uniforms Charges: The school suggests that a minimum of three sets of School Uniform. Click here for details
Stationery Charges: The school will provide the text books, work books, other stationery required during the year and the art material. The charges will include the stationery used by the child for personal use and material used to prepare the teaching aids.
Charges for School Bus Services: The fee for bus services as applicable to each route will be charged after receiving your Admission Acceptance Form. The commitment to avail of the transport facility from the particular contractor shall be for the entire term.
Cafetaria Charges: Please note that the school provides for hygienically prepared and nutritionally complete vegetarian breakfast and lunch to students. No special preferences in lunch can be catered for. However, those students who opt for home lunch should bring it along with them in the morning; please note that no person (parents/ drivers/others) will be allowed to enter the school campus for handing over lunch to students. The commitment to take meals provided by the school’s cafeteria shall be for a full term. The fee for Term I is to be paid at the time of admission and for Term II, the school extends a special facility to pay the fee on a quarterly basis.
Note: Those who make use of the school transport Cafeteria Services should note that the commitment is for the entire term, though the school extends the option to pay the transport services fee and cost of lunch relating to Term II on a quarterly basis.

 *   The Annual Fees and the Tuition Fees will be collected in the first week of the month.
 *   The charges for school transport service will be collected in the first week of the month.
 *   The commitment for cafeteria and transport service will be for full term.
 *   The charges for cafeteria will be collected in the month of April and October.
 *   The charges for the uniforms will be collected at the delivery of set of uniforms.
 *   The Stationery will be charged at MRP. The payment will be collected in month of September and March.
 *   In addition to the fees and charges listed in this fee schedule, parents will be required to meet the expenses towards educational trips & excursions, CBSE Board examination, remedial training and any other requirement in connection with their child’s education at BG Academy.
The fee schedule given in this page is subject to change from time to time, at the discretion of the BG Academy management. The school will communicate to parents any revision in the fee structure.

 *   Class I and II - Rs. 70,000/- Annum
 *   Class III and IV - Rs. 80,000/- Annum
 *   Rs. 1 Lac per annum for classes V to X

b) Extra Curricular activity fees (Literature Appreciation, Music, Sports, Basic skills, Applied Arts, Art Software, Exploration Activities), one Day excursions, cafeteria charges ……. The activity eliminated will not be charged.
 *   24,000 sq.ft. Building and 60,000 sq.ft. play area.
 *   Student : Teacher ratio 20:1
 *   Guidance of psychologist and board exams specialist.
 *   Expert Staff for individual subject
 *   Visiting Faculty for extra curricular activities
 *   Stationery, Uniform at MRP and bus service at actual.
 *   After school co-curricular activities are optional and at extra cost (Horse Riding, Music)
 *   Long distance national and international tours will be optional and charged.
 *   HR Facilities for parents

DATES AND MODE OF PAYMENT OF FEES

All the fees shall be paid before 7th of the month by accounts payee cheque or a demand draft for all the fees/charges) drawn in favour of "BG Academy", and payable at Pune. Please note that non-payment of fees within the due dates mentioned above will attract late fees charges Rs. 100/- per day beginning from 8th day to 29th day. The first reminder is will be sent then.The late fee penalty for the payment thereafter will be mentioned in the reminder note. If not acted upon BG Academy reserves the right to remove the student from the roll and school leaving certificate will bear the remark for defaulting in payments of the fees and also confiscation of Security Deposit.

Note

1) The Security Deposit is refundable against damage to, or loss of, library books, laboratory equipment, computer facilities and other equipment or assets of the school. It will be refunded without interest, after adjustment of dues, if any, on completion of the child’s studies. In the case of withdrawal from BG Academy the deposit will be refunded after adjustment of all dues in the month of April of next financial year. It is mandatory to give three months notice before the withdrawal of the child from BG Academy.

2) In addition to the fees and charges listed in this fee schedule, parents will be required to meet the expenses towards educational trips & excursions, CBSE Board examinations, remedial training and any other requirement in connection with their child's education at BG Academy.

3) Under no circumstances will the fees paid to the school be refunded if a student withdraws admission or communicates his / her intention not to attend the school before commencement of classes, for any reason.

4) Under no circumstances will the fees/charges paid to the school for any Term be refunded if a student withdraws admission or leaves the school before the end of that Term, for any reason.

6) If child is withdrawn from BGA before completion of two academic years the ‘process fees’ of Rs.24000.00 will be levied or deducted from the Security Deposit at the time of the refund.
 
7) In case of out station transfer or the case of absentee due to prolonged illness for more than a month and lesser than a year if student wishes to retain the seat in the school, the deposit must be fully paid. Then 40% of all the fees and charges for the said period will be collected in advance. The contribution for event will be applicable in such case. The payment for books, stationery and the uniforms will be collected before the permission is granted. If child is taking off from classes for family function or holiday this concession is not applicable.
 
8) During this period child continues be the bonafide student of BG Academy. Parents are expected to collect the study schedule and the activity sheets from Academic Administrator. They are solely responsible for preparing the child for the assessment at re-joining. The Elementary Section student will be assessed for readiness before resuming the classes. The Intermediate and the Secondary School student is expected to appear for Term Examination for the regular portion.
 
9) Parents will not pay in cash. All payments will be mentioned in fee receipts.
 
10) One-o-One: BGA has facility to develop children under personalized supervision of the chairperson with the help of team of counselors from different professions to enhance and develop child’s mental abilities and skills by appropriate training beyond academics. It is a joint effort with the parents.
